People often ask me, “How did you come up with that?”
This one came from a visit to Puget Sound.
I was sitting on a log watching these tiny, perfect waves lapping the shore. I thought about all of the ways that waves were generated: wind, tides, moon, man, etc… There’s a wave machine in every body of water!
I used mostly paulownia for this piece which is not glassed – just a clear polyurethane finish.
